Classes - Free Wellness Class
Ancient Healthcare Practices for Modern Times
Thanks to all of you who have so generously supported our long-running Free Weekly Wellness Class. Because of your generosity, this popular class has been going strong for twelve years.
The Wellness class originally came into existence twelve years ago at the request of Marin General Hospital, through Leslie Davenport of MGH's Humanities Department, and has become a vital part of the health of our community.
NEW LOCATION and DAY
We are delighted to announce that our Free Weekly Wellness Class has moved to the lovely Garden Room of Marin Art and Garden Center!
First class begins on March 5, 2008. Open to people of all fitness levels and ages.
Wednesdays, 12:30 to 1:30 pm
30 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Ross, CA.
Plenty of parking.
The Qigong exercises taught in this class are gentle, easy-to-follow, and excellent for those who are elderly, partially disabled, or dealing with life-altering illnesses.
"This system of healing helps to boost the immune system, slow the aging process, lower high blood pressure and reduce anxiety and depression. Restoring, maintaining and improving your health is of the utmost importance in order to function at peak performance levels," says Cheryl Lynne Rubbo. The free Weekly Wellness Classes are sponsored by PDP II Research Foundation and funded by generous donations from people like you.
