Paul D. Pickens II Research Foundation, a 501 (C ) (3) nonprofit health education organization, is a leader in transformative health practices, and with the support of PDP II donors and BreatheStrong members the PDP II Foundation is making a positive difference in the health of communities throughout the world. BreatheStrong and www.BreatheStrong.org is a subsidiary of the PDP II Research Foundation.
Our Purpose:
To raise awareness about the profound health benefits of ancient healing systems, and to foster the growth of connected communities working together for peace and encouraging the integration of wisdom, compassion, spirituality and right view into daily living.

To shift the paradigm of suffering and ill health in our world to joy, compassion, generosity and vibrant good health; inspiring by example the desire in others to do the same; to build and connect a global community of healers.

At PDP II Research Foundation, our mission supports the elevation of global health and consciousness by advancing self-directed healing systems through educational materials and instruction.

Train teachers in the Rubbo Art of Energy system - helping promote stress reduction and health enhancement, and increase quality of life in our community. Continue to develop educational programs designed to enhance self-awareness, concentration, and an altruistic intention. Develop videos, books and seminars for our worldwide audience. Wellness Classes Free weekly Qigong classes for the public.
Tai Chi and Qigong for Seniors Deer Park Retirement Residence, Novato.
Free Health and Wellness for Hispanic Women Canal Child Care Center , San Rafael.
Healing Your Body, Mind & Spirit During Treatment for Cancer. Meditation and visualization techniques for self-healing; stress management and dealing with pain.
In-Home & In-Hospital Healing Visits To assist patients on their path to healing.
Teacher Training Program This intensive three year program trains teachers in health and healing techniques, and martial arts forms. The screening process includes an evaluation of applicants for the following qualities: A compassionate spirit; the ability to work well with seniors and those with life-altering illnesses; a desire to help in the healing processes of members of our community. Graduates serve the community by teaching in our free health programs.
Menla Program Established by P.D.P. II Research Foundation to assist patients diagnosed with life-altering illnesses and to guarantee their access to traditional and alternative health care and health related services.
Rubbo Art of Energy Workshops and Retreats: Increase Vitality and Cultivate Inner Power. The fees for workshops and retreats help to support the community health and healing programs listed above.
On-Going Tai Chi and Qigong Classes : Drop-In and Monthly fees. These funds help to support the community health and healing programs listed above.
